Another relaxing breakfast! The staff are always friendly and attentive. It's great to have an independent venue in Ware that's comfortable for catching up with friends or having a business meeting.

Sorry guys, plastic cups for real ale and baileys is a bit disappointing, despite Dickensian Evening. The other bars are business as usual serving glassware. I doubt it's a pint but I hope you're recycling your plastic appropriately, but very disappointed with your attitude.

Very poor quality sandwiches. Complained and they were replaced with very similar: seafood between slices of dry toast and a tiny amount of dressing.

Nice place with cosy interiors. Can get very busy, which is a good sign. The menu has recently changed to be based mainly on bbq/grills (which are very good). There is still a variety of things available, but the pork belly will be missed by many... staff always very polite. As for the prices, they are a higher than other pubs in Ware, but the food quality is very good.

Food was tasty, but we needed to wait really long to get anything.

They din't have enough service people so they toke a while to get the orders to you. They forgot a part of my order and got my neighbours wrong (food missing on bill). However, they were very friendly, atmosphere was good and clean. The food was really good.

My absolute favourite place in Ware for a morning coffee. Comfy sofas, in lovely surroundings with helpful and friendly staff. In summer it's a great spot to sit outside and soak up the sun. Evenings tend to be busy with live music on Friday nights. Main meals are nice but not the best in the area and they often run out of things on the menu. All things considered Jacoby's is definitely worth a visit.

Great place, nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the historic Ware Town. Simple menu with plenty of choice and some interesting items to whet the appetite. Perfectly executed and nicely served by a great team.

Can't fault the service as they went out of their way to cater for our needs even after kitchen had officially closed. Food was nice but the steak I ordered was not cooked to my preference (not sure due to health and safety whether they could cook it my way though?).

Came here for a family before Christmas and had our table upgraded to a larger one in the up stairs area which had not yet been officially opened for the day. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and the portions are good sizes and quality for the money. A lovely selection of beer but most importantly, a perfect Guinness. A lovely country tavern for cosy pint by the fire.

Decent coffee which could be served with a small biscuit as in nearby competitors. Reasonably good service. Sadly sitting outside was spoilt by contractors working with a radio blasting out.

We just had coffee and Danish but lovely atmosphere. Good coffee and great decor to go with the Tudor building. Love this place. Must come for a proper breakfast or other meal again soon as it's been years.

Lovely venue with comfortable chairs and a nice atmosphere. Furthermore I asked the barman for my cranberry juice in a similar glass to the gin so I felt part of the fun (I'm pregnant and my friend were on the gin!) He did so, asked if I wanted berries to make it more exciting and a bit of lemon too! It's a small gesture but bar staff like this make experiences so much more enjoyable. Thank you :)

Not impressed slow service three chicken wing starter showed red meat and blood there comment meats ok it's from the bones. Some of meals not very hot.It spolt are 81 birthday meal.

Good food, and nice attentive staff. However i thought it was a bit pricey, and also had 10% service charge added to the bill. Will only return for just drinks.

breakfast was cold, the staff could benefit from smiling and being friendly and found several hairs in our food... noticed the chefs not wearing hair nets? sad and disappointing because years ago the food and atmosphere was great. this is the second meal we have had here in the last 6 months that was poor.

They don't understand dietary requirements.When I ordered the vegan breakfast I was instead given the vegetarian one. Was resolved quickly. While eating it turns out they moved everything but the poached eggs onto another plate and there were still bits of egg and obviously soggy bread there. Disgusting and unacceptable in this day and age!Service was very unfriendly and it felt like we were bothering them.

Its OK but don't like they serve lunch on plates and only one type of milk.

Great place for all seasons sit outside on a summer's evening and watch the world go by . In winter stay warm in the cozy and friendly surroundings of the comfortable bar area . Good food wide variety of beers and wines make this a great place to meet friends .

Very ok for a late morning tea and coffee. Good service, and calm ambience. However, it took very long for the coffees to make their way to the table. I sat next to a radiator which was burning hot (I burnt myself), but it was a chilly day...

Roasted salad was very acidic, not very nice. Other food looked OK. Interesting rustic interior.

I had gone here for dinner with my office colleagues. The interior of the hotel is quite good. It gives you feeling of eating in old beautiful wooden 🏠. There is limited option for food on the menu. But portion of food dishes are very big.

Good food but touch pricey good service outside patio seating area.
